He can do that.
Heb 11:29 By faith the people passed through the Red Sea as on dry land; but when the Egyptians tried to do so, they were drowned. NIV
He has not changed, He still parts the waters on behalf of his children.
Do you realize that it was God that led them TO that impassable waterway?
Ex 13:18 So God led the people around by the desert road toward the Red Sea. NIV
Then, I love what Moses tells the people as they look at their impossible circumstances and panic:
Ex 14:13-14 Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. 14 The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.” NIV
Let’s read these words in light of OUR current
circumstances and believe the God who loves
being faced with a “this one’s impossible” situation.
Believe Him now.
