Seeking His Face

I watched a program on Christian TV this morning that grieved my heart to the point of tears, so I did what any blogger would do, I wrote about it. After spending some time with the Lord, I realize that the Word of God dispels lies better than anything I could say to you about the twisted scripture being spoken as truth. So I choose to focus on seeking His face this morning!

1 Chron 16:8-11 8 Give thanks to the LORD, call on His name; make known among the nations what He has done. 9 Sing to Him, sing praise to Him; tell of all His wonderful acts. 10 Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice. 11 Look to the LORD and His strength; seek His face always. NIV

Psalms 27:7-8 7 Hear my voice when I call, O LORD; be merciful to me and answer me. 8 My heart says of you, “Seek His face!” Your face, LORD, I will seek. NIV

Psalms 105:4 4 Look to the LORD and His strength; seek His face always. NIV

Luke 12:27-31 27 “Consider how the lilies grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 28 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith! 29 And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. 30 For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them. 31 But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well. NIV

Blessing and Honor and Glory and Power…Forever!!!! In Awe of You, we worship.

Lord, we love You, be magnified in all the earth today!
